Carlsfjella (Svalbard)

14 km long mountain ridge from the head of [[St. Jonsfjorden]] to the eastern part of [[Løvenskioldfonna]], in the central part of [[Oscar II Land]]. The ridge consisting of [[Haraldfjellet]] in the north, [[Patronen]] and [[Knausen]] in the central and [[Valentinryggen]] in south
Opphav
After Carl Otto Løvenskiold, 1839-1916, landowner and prime minister, contributor to Norwegian [[Svalbard]] expeditions, e.g. Isachsen's expeditions 1909-10, which mapped and named these mountains. See also [[Løvenskioldfonna]]
